Basically, backlinks are of 2 types only.

(1) No-follow: building links for your blog or website is one of the important things.

There is an attribute of rel = ‘nofollow’, that’s why it does not pass the link juice and the search engine does not follow it.

The search engine bot ignores nofollow backlinks and the value of the nofollow backlink in front of the search engine is nothing.

(2) Do-follow: Dofollow link passes the link juice and the value of Dofollow backlinks is very high in search engines.

You need dofollow backlinks to improve our site’s search ranking. It helps in improving both domain authority and search ranking of the site. Building links that are dofollow are mandatory for your blog.

When we add a link to another web-page or website in our blog or website, it is called an outbound, External or Outgoing link.
